Salam Café began in 2004 as an experimental series made by a group of friends frustrated seeing Muslims on TV who were nothing like them or anyone they knew. The show has grown into a respected and popular show, now in it's third season, with an average national viewership of over 100,000. Salam Café screens on community TV channels in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.
Watched by Muslim's and non-muslims alike, Audiences enjoy the panel discussion, guest interviews, vox pops and sketches taking a light-hearted look at the Australian Muslim experience. The show also covers mainstream Australian issues and events.
Now with a studio audience you have the chance to see it live. Go to www.salamcafe.com.au to register.
