Newsline is a bi-annual student news and journalism program co-produced by RMIT's School of Media. It provides journalism students the chance to participate in television journalism and RMITV students the opportunity to work 'behind-the-scenes,' in the production of the show.
It is shot on campus at the RMITV Studio, and uses greenscreen technolgies to give students experience and training with industry level facilities.
Newsline goes live-to-air on Channel 31 bi-annually, it's semester one production has just completed, and pre-production for the next season will commence mid semester two.
Questions about the show can be directed towards the head of Television Journalism at RMIT University and Newsline's Executive Producer, Kevin McQuillan -
